After completing her postgraduate course in Drama, Gisela trained in 1995 with her mother Maria Mercati who is a leading exponent and teacher of Tui Na & Acupuncture in the UK and the founder of the Bodyharmonics Centre.
Gisela worked for three years at the Hale Clinic and five years at Champneys in Piccadilly - London.
Gisela also combines oriental therapies (Tui Na, Indonesian) and acupuncture in a unique and powerful fusion for the control of pain and the promotion and maintenance of good health.
She has made several television appearances on the subject and has featured in many articles in journals such as the Daily Telegraph, Daily Express, the Daily Mail, Vogue, Harpers & Queen and Here’s Health. She has also appeared in a book and video on Tui Na massage. She is also ITEC qualified and was an examiner for ITEC oriental therapies.
Gisela is an enterprising young woman who talks to patients whilst she treats them, putting them at ease during their treatment. She displays both a sense of health and energy in common with the rest of her family.
...having back pain made doing even simple tasks almost impossible. Initially
I was sceptical of the treatment but after only 4 sessions my confidence
returned. I had previously had 3 months of physiotherapy and I wish I had
had Tui Na and Acupuncture from the beginning. It’s unbelievable and
I would recommend it to anyone.

"Gisela's simply the best when it comes to massage, who do you think does me?" - Maria Mercati
